The QLP is pleased to announce that is has submitted its final proposals for the North Westgate area of Peterborough to the Council'

The QLP, which owns the Queensgate Shopping Centre, has conducted an extensive public consultation since 2002. The QLP’s consultation activities over the past five years have included planning workshops, two public exhibitions, and numerous meetings with individuals and community stakeholders.

Following the second public exhibition, which was held in July 2006, the QLP has worked hard to ensure that the scheme reflects, as far as possible, comments received from the public and key stakeholders such as Peterborough City Council and Opportunity Peterborough.

While the QLP had intended to submit a planning application to Peterborough City Council in Autumn 2006, the extended timeframe has enabled the QLP to have more detailed discussions with key stakeholders, allowing the project team to finalise key aspects of the scheme, and ensure that they are aligned to key city centre initiatives.
